The mission of the 学习支持计划 at bet亚洲365欢迎投注 is to provide students with Learning Disabilities and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder academic support, 学习策略, 以及通过个性化支持的宣传技巧, 以帮助他们变得独立, 全球社会的贡献成员.
Learning Specialists work with students twice a week for 45 minutes. 我们的课程是为自我激励而设计的, 勤奋工作的, and goal-oriented students who have a need for academic support as well as accommodations. Students are fully integrated into the college community and are expected to meet the same graduation requirements as all other Marist students. Students entering the 学习支持计划 are encouraged to have a clear understanding of their learning challenges, 愿意接受帮助, and be able to independently implement strategies taught during weekly sessions.

Applicants to the 学习支持计划 should have the following:

太阳能发电模块: 在学生学习支持计划的第一年, there are six topics that the Learning Specialists will introduce and reinforce with the students. Students will be informed about the importance of using Campus Resources, 以及时间管理策略, 记事, 积极的阅读, 动机, 和组织/策划. In 1982, the Office of 住宿和无障碍 formally began its 学习支持计划. The 学习支持计划 focuses on the development and use of strategies that will promote independence and personal success.

Each year, a select group of students is chosen to participate in the 学习支持计划. The LSP is competitive and only a limited number of spaces are available for acceptance. 在众多的申请者中选择总是很困难的.
